BACKGROUND

The Disciple have devoted their lives to the worship, meditation and manipulation of Shadowforce Energy. Ancient techniques of handed down through the cloning process and transcribed onto Sanskrit scrolls, the disciple’s numbers are growing as the word spreads and the tenets are taken on by the vast majority.

Disciples hone their chi energy through Mediation techniques learnt over years of practice and trial and error. The Chi can summon and manipulate The Shadow force energy and with the help of Sanskrit scrolls to focus the Disciples Mind’s eye, the manipulations burst forth with potency.

Disciples help with the meditation and shadow force focus by training their mind and body to honed perfection. Master of ancient Martial Art style of Ju Jing Xoa, from ancient earth prime oriental traditions, the Tabula Rasan Disciple would be considered high masters of the art.

Generally they have an altruistic outlook and prefer to help their fellow adventurer, believing that all good deeds are rewarded and are strong believers in Karma. As such, unlike other character, all Disciple characters begin the game with 1 positive Karma point.

As the Disciple grows in power and strength, their abilities are honed and unique techniques start to manifest themselves.

CLASS ABILITIES

1st Level – Chi Strike (1d8 damage) Channeling their Chi into a powerful melee attack, it can either be a punch or a kick. The Chi strike is +2 to attack value

5th Level – Diamond Body – The Disciple is able to focus the Chi into their muscles and create a denser skin. This provides a natural AR of 5 and immune to knife attacks.

7th Level – Shadow force Psychic Whip – The disciple is so in tune with the Shadow force emanations, he/she can project the force outward in a brutal psychic whip attack. This causes the intended target 2d10 damage and they must make a Psyche roll against DF of 15 or have their Psyche reduced to 1 indefinably The Disciple can use this ability once in a 24 hour period but it does not count toward their normal allotment of Shadowforce Manipulations and does not expend any Power points.

9th Level - Shadow Force Projection – Similar o Astra Projection, the Disciple can project their Shadow-Self into the Shadow Realm and travel for up to 100 miles in an incorporeal form. By doing this, the Disciple can pass through solid objects and is adept at spying or gathering information from people who have no idea he is there. The Disciple can stay in this form for as long as he likes while meditating, however, after 4 hours, the Disciple starts to lose Psyche temporarily and must make a Psyche check against DF 10 to remain in this form or be propelled back to physical form.

12th Level – Whirlwind Kumite – The Disciple has honed their martial art prowess to the ultimate battle tactic. By falling into the appropriate Kata, the Disciple can unleash this devastating attack. Once into the Whirlwind, the disciple cant stop, however, it is like the past trainers and students returning to proceed to annihilate the target. Essentially the attack does 2d20 damage to everyone in a forty foot radius. The attack is at a +3 to the Attack value and all within range take that damage. The whirlwind last for 2 combat rounds before the disciple returns to a dizzying normal self.

15th Level – Ninja Reinforcements – Use of this ability is once per week. Upon use, a contingent of 10 Ninja Warriors (see appendix I) arrive to lend the Disciple backup and extra fighting men.

18th Level – Soul Blade of Light – The disciple can summon a blade of pure Chi energy, called the Blade of Light, this blade inflicts 2d20 damage upon a hit and double damage to all shadow creatures. (See: Shadow Vampyr)

20th level – The One – The Disciple is able to enter a meditative state of such depth that his or her consciousness becomes one with the Shadowforce and can essentially be considered to be everywhere at once. The disciple becomes a virtual fighting machine with no equal. All stats are increased by +3 , an increase of Health by 100 and all damage inflicted regardless of Muscle by +10. This state of being lasts for 1d4 hours and can only be used once per week.
