Battle Report #4 - Core Rules 100% Complete!

Yes you read that correctly!

The first draft of the Battleforce Chronicles Core Rules is 100% Complete! What a Milestone!

After battling sickness, the hectic start to a new year and keeping the motivation up, you may not have heard from me for some time, but I was plugging away - and now I can happily say that the first draft is done. The rules are blurted out, for better or worse, they are done.

But that is only the beginning! There is still much to do, and while the core rules may be complete, that doesn't mean the game is finished yet. I am still looking into getting a character sheet compiled, I have to finish the scenario and hope to get the quick start guide ready to go for Can Con, (I am waiting on a cover being drafted for it as we speak by a very talented artist of Andrew Owlington. I have been very excited by some of the preliminary work I have seen him do to start to realize this universe into being, it is a very exciting time.

After Can Con, I will be hoping to work with my friend Oliver Shead to get a Kickstarter campaign off the ground for this and if that all goes well, to have the book in everyone's hot hands before the end of the year. Nothing would give me greater pleasure to know some of you out there were opening up my book on Christmas day 2017 to have many hours of fun and excitement!

Without getting ahead of myself, I still have lots to do, such as enlisting my beautiful wife to help proof this draft and start to polish it up and flesh it out more if required.
